Top 10 Winter Anime 2017 First Impressions! 10 First Impressions from Winter Anime Season 2017
the winter enemy season has just begun so let's get into it here to lift the 10 winter enemies that I went ahead and checked out this is really just going to be a quick into that enemy series and my first impressions of it be sure to post your first impression too let's go ahead and get started kicking this off is only hey only hate is his enemy said enero period Japan the start for this enemy focuses on hazel hasegawa he's ahead of the Arsenal self-control which is basically the police department of their time this guy supposedly sofia by criminals that is known as haze of the demons so far we've only gotten a taste of the first episode but on the scene I can't say there's much that really caught my attention the only thing that really stood out for this was the torture scene for one of the criminals it was really just terrible to look at I had to look away for most of it but that's about it it is worth mentioning that only he is the first enemy that studio is producing only hey also supposed to be episodic so we'll see where the story goes in a few episodes winter anime number nine Showa Rakugo season numbers 2.
i'm sure you guys will remember the first season of this one making it in my top three of 2016.
so really quick abridged version of what this is about.
the anime for this one shows the life of two best friends as they struggle to the world of Rakugo and just life in general.
Rakugo is a for of Japanese storytelling onstage.
it involves a storyteller portraying all the characters in the story.
they do all of this through only using their hand gestures and various changes in their voice.
the premise for this anime really honestly doesn't sound like something most people would be into but it works extremely well.
if you guys haven't seen this i'm not going to get into spoilers here but definitely give this a shot.
the second season starts off right in present-day and it gives us a nice recap, it's pretty detailed.
it then quickly jumps forward 10 years into the future.
I am skeptical about whether the second half will be as emotional as a previous one.
Season 2 does introduce a younger apprentice guy that's brought in.
it seems like the season two mostly be focusing on him.
my only issue with this is that I'm not really sure whether I like him too much yet.
i did mention not really finding myself ready for either the two friends in the first season so let's see what happens.
Anime number 8 the ACCA 13 territory inspection department.
the world for this series focuses on this huge Kingdom power.
the kingdom is subdivided into 13 different state all the states have an agency that are controlled by a larger organization called the ACCA.
the story here focuses on the character Yeah.
this guy is second in command of the inspection agency within the ACCA.
Jean's team pretty much do audits for all of these different states.
they just make sure that there's no corruption going around and that's pretty much it.
the first episode goes ahead and establishes the various details of their agency in their day-to-day work life.
so far there hasn't been that much to really tell what the actual story for this is yet.
except for the potentially very obvious framing of Jean or just some corruption that's about it happen within the kingdom.
i'm going to go ahead and give this a good old 3 episode test to see where this goes if it goes anywhere at all winter anime number 7 interview with the monster girls.
the world for this anime is one of filled with demi-humans.
in the past these demi humans were persecuted for being different but slowly the world has become more accepting of them.
so that's our story comes.
in we meet the biology teacher takahashi.
takahashi is very interested in learning more about these demi humans.
the only issue is that he's never actually met one in person.
luckily for him on his first day on this new job he manages to run into four of them.
all of them girls too! the main one we get to meet is a blond vampire hikari.
So about this first episode I can't say that the premise for this show sounded too interesting for me.
it potentially sounded like one of those shows where the new teacher is going to be getting all these underage girls thrown at him.
thankfully, this doesn't seem to be the case.
not yet anyway.
in reality there's really not too much that happens but i found this very first episode really enjoyable.
the time flew by really quickly while watching.
it had me that engaged with the characters.
most notably Hikari.
she's pretty charming.
the series goes into some other misconceptions that the teacher had about these monster girls.
we also get to this from the other normal human student.
in all i'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of these monster girl interviews.
let's see what makes it to my top anime of the year! winter anime number six saga of Tanya the evil.
the story for Tanya saga takes place around the time of the First World War.
right in the front lines is Tanya.
A small petite Blonde girl with huge blue eyes! in addition to the normal trench warfare on the field Mages are also involved in these fights.
I've already seen some people make some comparison to Izetta but in this anime mages are everywhere! the focus for the anime is of course Tanya who supposedly a ruthless monster both of strength and personality.
we get a reveal for what exactly Tanya is in the second episode so I'm not going to spoil it here.
I'll only mention that it reminded me of something Full metal Alchemist -esque.
Tanya herself is a mage so we see her flying around and shooting explosive magical bullets.
so far I've been able to check out the two episodes that are out and it seems pretty interesting enough.
there's really a good amount here to give me wondering where this is is all heading.
i do have to bring up something that really really bothered and it's just a humongous eyes on these characters.
those freaking eyes! of course big eyes in anime isn't anything new but just a combination how looked on this character who disturbed me.
but anyway we got this world war story with magical battles a demon girl what more could you ask for? winter anime number five Scum's wish! the story for this one is a romance drama about this high school couple of that got this unique relationship.
despite the couple being together both of them are actually love with someone else.
the girl is into her teacher that she considers her brother and then the guy in this is into a different female teacher at their school.
the only reason that both of these two are dating it's just because they feel lonely.
this set up these two have going on isn't even a friends with benefits type of deal.
they got a clear boundary established.
a couple of things for me.
this anime with one of the top 10 animes that Japan was excited for.
the premise for this story got me curious enough in it.
Was it going to go down this dark path? so i went ahead and read the first couple of chapters.
honestly I found it really really blend.
so keeping that context in mind how was the anime version of this? The anime for this actually seem to work a lot better for me.
for a story like this the visuals that we get in the anime help it a lot.
the music has used also really helped elevate the emotional scenes.
still if this doesn't sound like your type of thing is the anime version of it might not help too much.
so far it does have been curious enough to check out a few more episodes.
I could only see this getting extremely depressing or really really bland.
Winter animenumber four little witch academia! this anime is by the trigger studio so do i really need to say anything else> this anime is easily my most anticipated for this season that's not a sequel.
little witch academia focuses on Akko.
she's young girl that's determined to become a witch at the witch academy.
and that's really all you need to know.
little witch academia is pretty much Harry Potter the anime version.
i do have to mention that there are two movies for this series that came out a few years back.
you could totally go into the TV version of this without having seen them which is pretty much what i did.
i do have to admit that the first episode was a little too predictable but either way it was still enjoyable.
there's a lot to like from what's introduced here.
Both from the characters and the world that they set up.
it'll be exciting to see how the non witch Akko becomes the full witch.
especially since the natural born witches don't really seem to like the non witches coming in.
oh yeah and we mention the best thing this anime is going to be a full 25 episodes freaking awesome! Winter anime number three Masamune's revenge.
the story for this one focuses on Masamune who was a former chubby kid back in the day.
he got scarred early on by this girl Aki who call them piggy for being overweight.
Masamune is now extremely fit and handsome.
on top of that a Narcissist too.
he happens to run into the girls Aki in high school.
she's the type of girl that has the school under her command.
think Erina enough from food wars.
Masamune now finally has his chance.
he begins to plot his revenge against her.
honestly I had mixed in with the introduction to this series.
on the one hand as a former chubby kid myself I could totally relate to this guy.
after we get to know the present version of this guy and her plan, it just got me feeling dirty and not in a good way.
his major plan is to get into this relationship with this Aki girl and then dumped her to get his revenge.
it just sounds totally fucked up and the guy is a douche bag anyway.
to be fair the girl honestly isn't any better so it comes down to two messed up slimy individual going at it.
this is supposed to be a comedy so this premise isn't going down a serious route.
i'm going to go ahead and give this and a few episodes to decide whether to continue.
winter anime number two Blue Exorcist the Kyoto Saga.
finally we're getting a new season for this after what 5, 6 years? for those new to blue Exorcist the story for this focuses on Rin who happens to be the son of Satan.
Satan has planned to use his son to invade the human world.
unfortunately for him Rin has other plans.
Rin instead rebelled against this demon father and goes down the path of becoming an Exorcist.
he ultimately wants to fight against his father and any other demons that hell wants to throw at him.
anyway I'm not going to get into spoilers here.
i will mention that this anime really reminds me a lot of bleach.
we've got a lot of demon-fighting there's hell involved and there's some sword-fighting too.
there's also the weird Satan powers that the main character has.
blue actresses also got me interested in just how the main character handle keeping its identity as being the son of Satan a secret.
we got to see Rin attending the Academy to become an Exorcist.
at the same time practically all of the in training student here had either family or friends killed by Satan in the past.
I would definitely recommend giving this anime a shot of this sounds interesting! winter anime number one surprising no one KonoSuba season two.
the first season KonoSuba was in my top three of last yea.
R after that amazing first season every single KonoSuba fan is ready for some more! just how is aqua and Kazuma gonna screw up some more! + we're going to get more explosions from megumin.
there's already a couple in this first episode.
KonoSuba season two picks up right at the end.
Kazuma is in freaking Jail! in this first episode we get to see the fun shenanigans of Kazoo's trial.
it even begins with a continued game screen plus the star wars type of opening to kick this off! as you guys could easily tell i'm already in love with the second season.
I do have one slight issue to bring up though.
it seems that the animation budget took a hit or something.
the first episode for this looked a lot lower quality compared to what we got in the first season.
it didn't really affect my enjoyment of it but it was something that i would notice every now and then.
I have seen the first season three times.
even if this is really a simple change in animation style it's just something that will stick out a lot more for me.
I also did happen to check out the first episode of the second season twice.
whatever changes they made with animation styles really didn't stand out for me in the second viewing.
so let's see in this animation style change is the same for the rest of the KonoSuba season two.
definitely be sure let me know if any of you guys noticed this too while watching! hey guys thanks for watching! don't forget to subscribe and leave a like if you enjoyed the video! there's a new top anime video every week.
there's a lot of different winter anime covered in this video so let me know which ones you guys are watching this season.
Did any of ones I mentioned here peak your interest? I bet that KonoSuba season two is definitely on your watch list already! anyway be sure to subscribe for more awesome anime content check out some of these past anime videos enough see guys later.
