How To Tell If a Guy Likes You

Hey I’m Andrew Quo and uh, back in highschoolI was a lot more shy than I am now.

When I liked a girl, I would kind of play “emotional detective” which basically means that I’d analyze everything she did to try and interpret whether or not she liked me.

So to not drive myself crazy, I’d talk to any friend I knewthat had any advice to give.

Now some of it was terrible, but what I took away from it all was that guys aren’t that different when it comes to showing we’re interested in a girl.

So today I thought it’d be fun to talk about the signs we give to show a girl we like them.

Every dude on earth show she’s into you with his body language when you’re around.

Staring is probably the easiest to tell, cause if you turn around and some dude quickly looks away or pulls one of those “what? what’s the clock say?” you already know he’s trying to cover up checking you out.

But if he doesn’t look away, you might wanna call 911, cause you are about to become a statistic.

Also if you ever say something to a guy and he immediately sits up right and smiles, he doesn’t wanna get caught looking bad by you, gee,i wonder why? oh I don’t know, because HE LIKES YOU.

But there’s wayy more not-so-subtle thing she’ll do if he actually is into you.

Like if he starts a conversation with you over something that really doesn’t matter, like, he wants notes for a class or something- there’s DEFINITELY a ton of other people he COULD have asked,but he needed an excuse to talk to you.

The other thing is just how he talks to youin general.

Like when I’m interested in a girl and we’re talking- I actually do this both in person and through texts, everything I say will leave room for a response.

Like uh, “yeah so I got my yellow stripe in taekwondo so if you want you could call me sensai.

Do you do any martial arts?” By the way that’s 100%true so if any of you ever wanna call me sensai, I mean, you wouldn’t be wrong to do so.

Point is, we’re eager to keep you involved in our conversation if we like you.

Getting even less subtle, my favourite thing to do is to low key ask if a girl has a boyfriend.

I’m sneaky about it though.

Like uhh.

It’s cold outside.

does.

does your boyfriend feel cold? um, what boyfriend?.

Good.

And one of the most obvious signs is when he finds subtle ways to touch you.

Like it could be just a poke to get your attention, or a sympathetic I’m sorry that happened to you.

I mean it’s just a video game.

I have other lives.

And you might have that happen to you sometime and think, “oh it was super casual, I’m sure he does that to everybody”.

That’s whathe wants you to think.

That’s how he makes it not weird.

He had you going from the start.

And then lastly there are dudes that you’re friends with.

Maybe you have been for a while, so not being sure if he likes you or not i sa tight spot to be in.

I guess the biggest thing to look out for in a situation like that is that he remembers the little things.

Like, there comes a point where people who are just friends overlook the little stuff like peoples names and specific places cause that doesn’t add to whatever you’re talkinga bout, it’s just a detail, but if this guy actually wants to seriously get involved with you, he’ll want to know all that stuff, just to have that many more things he knows about you.

I don’t know, love’s weird.

Anyways that was just a few things I’ve seen guys do to show when they like a girl.
